Hello and thanks for visiting!  I’m a passionate business and people person with over 15 years’ experience in human resources. I bring experience and deep hands-on knowledge in different facets of what has traditionally been human resources: direct recruiting and talent acquisition strategies, developing best-in-class onboarding programs, ensuring safety and duty of care, implementing systems and technology, managing employee benefits and compensation programs, offering training and development opportunities, dealing with complex employee relations issues and separations and coaching executives to lead more effectively. I’m thankful in having gained the experience with these disciplines both domestically and internationally, which avoids the formulaic, sedentary processes that can keep businesses from improving.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree (BBA) from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with a major in Human Resources in addition to professional certifications (a Professional in Human Resources and Global Professional in Human Resources from HRCI). I completed a leadership program in 2020 aimed at exploring leadership in an exponentially changing world from MIT.   I’ve worked in non-profits, staffing agencies, private and publicly held global technology companies, small businesses in the Pacific Northwest and everything in between. I seek continuous education in order to ensure my skills/knowledge continue to be relevant and network with some incredible people in my field. I genuinely care about people and how we can bring the best of what lies within us to the forefront where it belongs.

I have a strong focus on strategic initiatives and what is needed to bring ideas to reality while maintaining attention to detail and collaboration. I value the unique perspectives of individuals and cultivate a globally inclusive mindset with grace, agility and flexibility. I seek excellence, maintain a resilient core, and know that if I’m not making mistakes occasionally, then I am not pushing myself and taking enough risks. I believe in incremental progress and the dividends it provides us while being prepared to take a leap now and then.
